Communication and marketing manager

Katuaq is looking for a new communications and marketing manager, starting as soon as possible or by agreement.

As Communications and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for communication and marketing that support the organisation's goals and growth.

You will be a key person in building and strengthening our brand and ensure effective communication both internally and externally. You lead the common thread in Katuaq's expression towards. The work is largely about planning and coordinating ongoing external communication from Katuaq to various media, as well as preparing content for the website and other marketing media.

You will be part of the events department, with reference to the events manager, with daily contact with the whole of Katuaq, and especially the café and conference department as well as the cinema.

General tasks

• Develop strategies and marketing plans for the whole of Katuaq and execute them.
• Responsibility for creating content, news and information on the website www.katuaq.gl and associated social media.
• Prepare marketing and sales analyzes in close collaboration with those responsible for the areas under investigation.
• Plan and create content for marketing events and products.
• Coordinate customer information and signage in Katuaq.
• Coordinate Cafétuaq's product design and marketing.
• Participate in the running of selected events to create photo and video documentation or other tasks relevant to the position.
• Be part of the team in the events department and support the work there when needed.

We expect you to:

• have an education or other background in marketing.
• have experience working with content for So-Me and websites.
• be strong in preparing texts.
• fluent in Greenlandic, Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• be a team player when it comes to cooperation with others.
• enjoy being in a vibrant cultural center where it is sometimes busy.
• can maintain an overview when working with various tasks, in cooperation with both internal and external partners.
• is interested in working with Katuaq's brand.
• is flexible and, if necessary, can work at odd times.
• is proactive and focuses on development.
• have knowledge of and understanding of Greenlandic culture and society.
